The CIO Asia Awards are a prestigious annual listing of the top Asian companies that have deployed information and communications technology to derive the highest strategic value and to yield the greatest returns for their key operations and businesses.
Avnet was named the winner for the growth category for its innovative digital platform, Avnet uRenew™. This platform provides Avnet’s Technology Solutions business in Asia Pacific with a single, consolidated view into the status of IT services contract renewals. Avnet uRenew enabled the organization to increase the renewal rate for IT services contracts, helping to drive revenue and improve performance in the region.

The data available through the consolidated portal helps Avnet reduce the time needed to identify and follow up with new renewals by 80 percent and gives business leaders deeper visibility into performance through the region.
This marks the second consecutive year that Avnet has been recognized by CIO Asia. In 2015, the company was named to CIO Asia’s Honour Role for its advanced sales management system in the region.
